Cautions: • Never leave dead or weak batteries in the recorder. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage the recorder’s electronic parts. • If you do not plan to use the recorder for several days, remove the batteries. Note: Do not replace the batteries while the recorder is recording or playing. -

3. Press MODE button to confirm. If the folder becomes full during recording, a beep sounds. Select the other folder to continue recording. Voice Activated (VOX) Recording To set the recorder to automatically start and stop recording based on sound it detects, press MODE button once then repeatedly press SEARCH button until ON appears. -

To skip the current message and go to the previous message, press PLAY/STOP button(if you are playing back a message), press SEARCH button twice, then press PLAY button. The recorder beeps and the message number changes. To skip the current message and go to the next message, press PLAY/STOP button (if you are playing back a message), press SEARCH button once, then press PLAY/STOP button. -

RESETTING THE RECORDER If your recorder is exposed to a strong static electrical charge, the recorder might lock up or the display might dim.
