You can fit operator-controllable drives (such as a DVD drive) and other modules.
This manual shows you how to start up and operate your machine. The manual covers
all available expansion stages. Depending on the expansion stage selected, it may
happen that the hardware components shown are not fitted to your machine. Please
also note the instructions applicable to your operating system.
Depending on the selected configuration, the operating system is pre-installed
on your hard disk (e.g. Windows Vista).
So that no unauthorised person can access your data, your machine offers a range of security
measures. The security functions in the BIOS Setup allow you to protect your data against access by
assigning them passwords. In addition, systems with SmartCard readers offer further protection.
