INSTALLATION
OF VIDICON TUBE
In order te install and setup the Vidicon tube, the
following
procedures must
be
adhered
too.
During
the
installation procedure
do not
touch either
the face of the
Vidicon tube or any other
optical surface
as
this
will
put
fingerprints
oz the
surfaces,
causing
a
blurry
eP
fuzzy projected
image.

a.
Remove all power from the Camera Channel.
b.
Remove the four screws that secure the Camera cover
the
main frame and then remove
the cover.
c.
Remove
the lens
holder by unscrewing
it
with
the
spanner provided.

Remove
the
retaining ring by unscrewing
it

deflection assembly with
the
spanner provided
(use the
end
of the
spanner from that used

Insert the Vidicon tube iA the Camera so that its

alignment with
the
alignment
plate
at the
rear of
assembly.
NOTE
The shortest pin on
the
Vidicon tubebare must
be
inserted
in the hole
designated by
the red dot on the
alignment
plate.
f.
Replace the retaining ring by pulling back
on the
a2ignmdnt
plate,
compressing
the coil springs.
The
retaining ring should then
drop into place and fit snug against
its stop.
g.
Plug the Vidicon tube connector into the tube base.
