System Features
1FINITY enhanced logging allows users to provision the generation of new log files based on the file size and
number. This feature allows users to control the rotation of the log files, maximizing file space, and storage
efficiency. Only users with Level-4 privileges can configure these log files.

Jumbo Frame Support with IP MTU Maximum 9574 Bytes

The NEs support ETH max-frame-size of 9600 bytes for the following interfaces:
■ LCN1
■ LCN2
■ LCN3
■ LCN4
■ OSC
Note: In Release 19.1.1, ETH max-frame-size is a read-only attribute and the default value is 9600 bytes.
From Release 19.1.1, the IP MTU for these ports can be provisioned up to 9574 bytes. Before Release 19.1.1, IP
MTU can only be provisioned to maximum of 1500 bytes. The default size of these ports is 1500 bytes.
Note: In Release 19.1.1, ETH Interface MTU is used for backward compatibility and if a user edits the ETH
Interface MTU value, it does not affect the system. In later releases, ETH Interface MTU is removed and cannot
be used.
The NEs support IP MTU of a maximum value of 1500 bytes for the following interfaces:
■ LMP
■ User channel
Note: The default is 1500 bytes.

L100 Blade supports postoutadj value setting feature that is used to perform the following functionalities:
■ Reducing noise in an optical network
■ Enhancing the signal transmission distance
