Possible cause and remedy
The deflector plate is blocked by a heavy object, for
example.
If the deflector plate is blocked when it is extended, it
retracts a little and stops.
Touch the On/Off sensor .
The deflector plate extends and then retracts.
An object has become lodged in the deflector plate.
If the deflector plate is blocked during retraction, it
extends a little and stops.
Touch the On/Off sensor .
Switch on the fan or the lighting.
The deflector plate extends.
