16.1 Return
For disposal, our products can be returned free of charge. However, the prod-
ucts must be free from remains such as oil, grease or other impurities.
Furthermore, the products returned for disposal must not contain any undue for-
eign substances or external components.

16.2 Packaging
The packaging material consists of cardboard, plastics, wood or styrofoam.
Packaging material can be recycled anywhere.
For ecological reasons, please do not return empty packages.
16.3 Batteries and accumulators
Batteries and accumulators can be labeled with this symbol.
The symbol (crossed-out wheel bin) indicates that batteries have to be collected
separately.
The end user within the EU is legally obligated to return used batteries. Outside
the validity of the EU Directive 2006/66/EC, comply with the regulations.
Used batteries can contain hazardous substances, which can harm the environ-
ment or health when improperly stored or disposed of.
After use, the batteries or accumulators in Rexroth products have to be disposed
according to the country-specific recycling system.
Store and transport the damaged VAU02.1 or the unmounted accumulator in re-
fractory containers. There is fire hazard.
