CAUTION:
Risk of injury and leaks from escaping solar heat transfer medium as
a result of unsecured solar hoses.
▶ Secure every solar hose to the collector connection using a hose clip.
▶ Tighten the circlip when the hose clip is located directly in front of the
bead.

8.3.3
Making the roof connection
The necessary base anchor can be created through a substructure
provided by the customer (e.g. l-beam or concrete slabs) or direct
connection to the roof.
▶ Design the substructure and fastenings according to the table to
ensure that the system can withstand the wind forces that occur
( figure: Installation on l-beams).

roof frame on a substructure with adequate load-bearing capacity

▶ Lay out l-beams, concrete slabs or similar that have adequate load-
bearing capacity on protective building mats[2].
▶ Position the substructure horizontally in a crosswise direction. If
necessary, compensate for any height differences.
▶ Using an aid [1], check whether a height adjustment to the
substructure is necessary.
