Leak Detector Operation The leak detector alarm may sound for one of the following reasons: • A leak of 4 to 6 ounces (118-177 ml) has occurred. • The oil level in the main reservoir is reduced by 4 to 6 ounces due to contraction of the oil by cooling.
In case of an emergency the machine can be towed for a short distance (less than 1/4 mile (0.4 km)). However, Toro does not recommend this as standard procedure. Important: Do not tow the machine faster than 2-3 MPH (3-5 km/h) because the drive system may be damaged.
