In addition to still photography, the FinePix A205 offers movie recording and playback capability. Its easy-to-use menu interface makes the Fujifilm FinePix A205 simple to operate. (see "Zoom buttons"). The Fujifilm FinePix A205 has a 3x optical zoom and a digital zoom that offers up to 2.5x additional magnification. The zoom is activated by pressing the up arrow to zoom in (telephoto) and the down arrow to zoom out (wide angle).

After the camera switches off, turn the power off and back on again. Blinking red: xD-Picture Card warnings (no card loaded, card not formatted, card full, etc.) or lens operation error. The Power switch is used to turn the camera on and off. The Fujifilm FinePix A205 has a Power Save function to conserve battery power. If the camera is not used in any way for approximately 30 seconds when the camera functions are enabled, this function temporarily switches off features such as the LCD monitor to reduce power consumption.

Page 8 of 10 DC IN socket Use the DC IN 3V port with the optional Fujifilm AC Power Adapter (AC-3V, AC-3VW) to power your camera and charge your battery from a wall outlet. Connect one end of the adapter to the DC IN 3V port and the other end to a wall outlet.

An optional cradle is available for the A205. By storing your A205 in the CP-FXA10 Picture Cradle, you ensure that your camera is always charged and ready to go.
