6.3. Removing the Unit from
inside the Multimedia Pocket

1. Turn the main body upside down and open the
Multimedia Pocket cover.

2. Slide the locking latch to the unlocked position,
keeping it there, then turn the lever.

3. The media unit mounted in the Multimedia Pocket will
then be ejected.
6.4. Removing the Keyboard
Cover
1. Open the connector cover at the rear of the main
body and remove the two screws <A>.
Screw <A> : DFHE5054YA
Screw tightening torque 0.49 ± 0.05 N·m (5.0 ± 0.5 kgf·cm)
Locking
2. Remove the four screws <B>, located at the junction
latch
between the display unit and the main body.
Screw <B> : DFHE5054YA
Screw tightening torque 0.49 ± 0.05 N·m (5.0 ± 0.5 kgf·cm)
3. Remove the cover over the junction area.
4. Gently pull the keyboard unit up and turn it over so
that it is facing upside down.
FDD Unit
5. Remove the four screws <C> from the wiring cover on
the backside of the keyboard.
Screw <C> : DFHE5025YA
Screw tightening torque 0.19 ± 0.02 N·m (2.0 ± 0.2 kgf·cm)
6. Remove the wiring cover.
7. Disconnect the two connectors, CN52 andCN 53,
which connect the main PCB inside the main body, to
the keyboard unit.
