PREPARATION

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your TRC-93 requires six AA alkaline bat-
teries (such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-
552) for power.
Cautions:
• Always use fresh batteries of the
required size and type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries in
the TRC-93.
Follow these steps to install batteries.
1. Remove the battery compartment
cover by pressing down on the
cover's arrow, then sliding the cover
down.
2. To help remove the battery case, pull
the ribbon inside the battery com-
partment. Then lift out the case.
3. Insert six AA alkaline batteries into
the case, as indicated by the polarity
symbols (+ and –) marked inside the
battery case.
4. To replace the battery case, place it
on top of the ribbon.
