DigiSnap 5000/5700 – User's Guide
Overview
The DigiSnap 5000 and 5700 are cable release adapters for the Nikon Coolpix
5000 and 5700 digital cameras. When used with a suitable cable release, such as
the low cost Canon RS-60E3, the camera shutter can be activated remotely,
eliminating camera shake, etc.

Quick Start
1)
Mount the DigiSnap 5x00 to your Nikon Coolpix 5x00.
2)
Connect a shutter release cable to the DigiSnap 5x00.
3)
The remote shutter release may then be used in exactly the same
manner as the shutter release button on your camera.
Mounting the DigiSnap 5000/5700
Open the battery compartment of your camera and remove the battery. Slide the
small plastic cover plate toward the battery compartment, and remove (see the
picture below).
