Initial operation procedure
When connecting the telephone system, the local regulations must be observed.
1.
Connect the extensions (1...8) in
correspondence with the connec-
tion diagrams.
2.
Plug the AC adaptor into the power
outlet.
3.
Plug the CO line in the telephone
wall socket.
The telephone system is now ready for use. When you pick up the handset of an extension you
will hear the telephone system's dial tone. When you dial 0 you will hear the continuous dial
tone of the CO line.

Extension 1 and extension 2 (2/8 clip only)
must always be connected, because in the
case of a power failure (or if the AC
adaptor is disconnected) it continues to
function.
In addition, the special features of the tele-
phone system can be programmed from
extension 1.
