OPERATION

• In case of an Emergency,
the engine
can
be stopped
by moving
the Choke
Lever to
FUll Choke
Position.
If
the
motor
will
not
be opelatedif0r_-_

of time; if it is to be removed
from
the boat,

it is to be tilted:up,
we
recommend
the
following

prevent

carburetor
throat
and
bowl

the
carburetor

need to
adjust

speed using idle Adjusting
Screw.
Turn that
Screw
clockwise
to
increase
motor
speed-
and counter
clockwise
to decrease
it.
The-
idle
speed
adjustment
must
be'done

and the
idle speed should be as low as possible

the engine runs steady.

Shear
Pin is used

the Drive
Train
and Gears.
The
Shear
Pin
will
not
prevent
the
propeller
from
becoming
damaged
when
striking
an
under
water
object.
When
shear
pin
is
broken,
the
engine
will
continue
to
run, ,

will
not be rotating,
