Suggested Tools and Materials:
Drill motor & 9/32" bit
Hack Saw
¼-20 bolt, nut & lock
washer.
Step 1) Using the guideline on the
following page, cut your Edelbrock
bracket with hacksaw along specified
line and drill Ø9/32 hole.
Step 2) A 1.0" portion of the rib
must be flattened as shown below.

Step 3) The OEM bracket must be
cut as shown below. Discard the
piece on the right side of the photo.
Step 4) Loosely assemble the OEM
and Edelbrock brackets as shown
below. Some minor adjustments
may be required once assembly is
bolted on to engine.
Step 5) Install bracket assembly onto
engine. Check for contact between
the vacuum actuator boot and the
throttle bracket. If contact exists
remove more material from the cut
line until full clearance is obtained.
Tighten all bolts on assembly.
