PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The FT151RL, FT151RL-12 and FT152RL are replacement sensors for the Civacon ROM
link and compatible with 1554-007, -012, -018 Civacon overfill sensors and 1000RL
Civacon retain sensors. These instructions provide a picture overview of additional steps to
properly install the FT151RL series and FT152RL sensors into a ROM LINK harness.
Installation Steps:
Refer to GENDER ADAPTER picture, page 3
1) Remove the Civacon sensor and housing. You will not use any of the original
Civacon sensor components. Leave the Civacon harness in place if in good
condition.
2) Remove sensor cap and probe from housing. Insert Cable gland into the sensor
housing. Use some pipe sealant to insure a water-tight connection.
3) Cut FT151P sensor to length so that sensor length is set to 60 gallons or 3% of tank
capacity compartment.

- Page 2 6) Mount the sensor housing into the manhole cover. 7) Connect the FloTech Gender Adapter to the Civacon harness pig tail for the compartment this sensor is replacing. Use a little dielectric grease or Vaseline in the connector to help repel moisture.

Power up the monitor to check out operation. 11) IMPORTANT NOTICE: Perform a WET TEST on each sensor and look for the corresponding RED sensor LED to light and the permit LED to go out.
