GENERAL LAYOUT

Do not operate the machine unless you are trained and authorized to do so.
Unintentional misuse of controls may damage the machine and cause personal
injury.
Figure 8 illustrates the general layout of the operator's controls and instrumentation in
the cab. Note the position of the ignition switch and safety lever. The operator's controls
include those located on the right and left consoles and the foot pedals on the floor. The
following sections list their functions and the symbols used.
Before starting the engine make sure that all the controls are in their neutral positions
and the safety lever is in back position (controls are not activated).
