SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
NEVER use this product underwater without receiving TRAINING and CERTIFICATION in the technique of SCUBA diving from
a recognized certification agency. Use of this equipment by a person who is not certified by a recognized agency shall
render all warranties, express or implied, null and void. Use of underwater breathing devices by uncertified or untrained
persons is dangerous and can result in severe injury or death.
EasyDive is recommended for depths less than 30 feet.
NEVER dive with a system that shows signs of damage, leakage or substandard performance.
NEVER OVERFILL the system above 3000 psi, the air pressure stamped on the cylinder. ONLY use purified, dry compressed
breathing air when refilling cylinder.
DO NOT fill or use the system if it has been exposed to extreme heat exceeding 250°F, or open flame. Instead, discharge the
cylinder completely and return it to an Authorized Dealer for inspection and possible hydrostatic testing.
DO NOT use the regulator first stage as a carry handle when lifting the system as this can damage the regulator.
NEVER breathe completely empty underwater. Water will enter inner stages of the regulator and may result in internal
corrosion and require service. ALWAYS rise to the surface when the pressure gauge shows 500 psi.
ALWAYS dive with EasyDive full – less starting pressure means less time underwater.
NEVER leave the EasyDive standing upright. ALWAYS store lying down to prevent damage in case of tipping over.
NEVER rise up to the surface faster than the air bubbles.
NEVER hold your breath underwater. Breathe normally in and out during the whole dive.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Practice using EasyDive in shallow water. Practice switching between the SNORKEL & DIVE modes on the Snorkelator. The
amount of air you will receive will vary based on your lung capacity, depth, water temperature, exertion level, etc.
EasyDive utilizes a dry snorkel, however some water may still enter the snorkel. To clear the Snorkelator, tilt your head to
the left and exhale sharply. Repeat occasionally to keep clear.
EasyDive is shipped empty – fill prior to use.
The harness does NOT have built in buoyancy.
The harness has pockets for optional weights, depending on your size & weight you may want to use them to help you dive
underwater easier. DO NOT overweight yourself.
Cylinder and Harness are packed in a position ideal for shipping. Prior to use, loosen cylinder strap and lower cylinder in
Harness so that 1
ALWAYS wear dive fins when using EasyDive.
Some components may come in different colors/styles than shown online and in manual.

- Page 3 Deluxe Filter #930C #910Q Supplemental instructions for use with EasyDive (refer to Nomad User Instruction Manual for general operating instructions): 1. For safety, always lay down cylinder on its side during filling. 2. Starting after Step 7 on page 5, attach Deluxe Filter to output hose as seen in picture. Deluxe Filter end with the male connector is the air inlet, and the other end with female quick disconnect is the air outlet. The direction must be correct. 3. Option 1: Attach #930C Adapter to Refill Port on Spare Air, HEED & EasyDive (option 1) and attach to Deluxe Filter. Option 2: Attach #910Q Adapter to Tank Valve on EasyDive (option 2) and attach to Deluxe Filter. 4. Continue with Step 8 on page 5. Notes & Precautions: Deluxe Filter ‐ Ultra large air filter combines disc filters, activated carbon deodorization and desiccant. Includes a second filter tube along with replacement parts ‐ 10 filter discs, 4 o‐rings, & 5 burst discs. This filter removes impurities and residual moisture created during pumping process. Deluxe Filter replacement: under normal circumstances replace after being used 30 times or approximately 50 hours. If the filter element is dirty, may be replaced sooner. Approximate service life is 1 year. When replacing entire filter tube, the desiccant must be at the end of the male connector/air inlet. - Page 4 BEFORE USING THE SNORKELATOR 1. Ensure that the Snorkelator is securely attached to the regulator. 2. Familiarize yourself with the operation of the Snorkelator & practice turning the dial to each function several times: Turn the dial to ‘SNORKEL’ when breathing off the snorkel (dial is pointing toward the snorkel). Silicone Gasket (black portion holds snorkel to regulator) Turn the dial to ‘DIVE’ to breathe off the regulator (dial is pointing to the regulator). PRE‐DIVE CHECK 1. SLOWLY open the On/Off Knob counter‐clockwise to pressurize the regulator. 2. Check that there are no audible leaks. NEVER DIVE with a regulator that shows any signs of leakage when pressurized. 3. Visually check mini pressure gauge for needle to be within green zone. 4. Push Purge Button down and release. Purge Button should move up and down freely. To maintain full pressure do not purge unnecessarily. 5. Affix your scuba diving mask to the Snorkelator clip. 6. Put vest on and adjust for a snug but comfortable fit. Add soft weights to pockets (OPTIONAL). 7.

POST‐DIVE NOTE: Rinsing should occur as soon as possible after diving. 1. Remove unit from harness. 2. Before rinsing, check Pressure Gauge and make sure EasyDive is not empty (has some pressure) to prevent entrance of moisture into the system. Refill if necessary. CAUTION: If empty, water may have entered the regulator and cylinder and could lead to corrosion and/or failure of the system. Refer to Maintenance section. 3. Soak the whole EasyDive unit (pressurized – Tank Valve ON) for at least 30 minutes in fresh water after each use. Rinse the 2 Stage and Snorkelator thoroughly to remove salt water and/or sand. 4. Turn the Snorkelator dial several times between DIVE and SNORKEL mode while rinsing in clean, fresh water. 5. Turn On/Off Knob on clockwise until it is completely closed. 6. Gently shake to dislodge any water and wipe dry with a clean towel. 7. Store EasyDive full or with some positive pressure to prevent contaminants from entering the cylinder. Store in a clean, dry environment with optimum temperatures of 50‐75°F for best product performance. Avoid direct sunlight, automobile trunks or other areas subject to temperature extremes. NOTE: Industry guidelines recommend replacing air in cylinders annually. ROUTINE CARE & MAINTENANCE For general cleaning, use a mild dish soap or Simple Green / biodegradable solution. For sanitizing, use a commercially available regulator sanitizer available through a dive shop. Keep the threads on the Refill Port (Combo model) clean and lubricated. Use high‐quality, non‐toxic, food grade silicone grease for best results. CAUTION: Never use a hydrocarbon based oil (i.e. household oil or motor oil). If you notice damage, wear or suspect any leaking or missing parts, have EasyDive examined immediately. WARNING: Do not attempt to repair yourself. FAQ 1. How do I get my EasyDive filled? Take the EasyDive Option 1 along with the included refill adapter #920C to any dive shop and they will fill it for you for a nominal fee. EasyDive Option 2 uses a standard Scuba tank valve and does not need #920C. Dive shops have high pressure air compressors that pump clean breathing air. EasyDive comes with a DOT/TC marked cylinder and is not for use in EU countries. 2. Can I fill my EasyDive off a compressor purchased at a hardware store? No, small compressors sold at hardware stores only pump low pressure (about 125 psi) and do not filter the air so it is not breathing quality air. EasyDive has a high pressure 3000 psi cylinder. 3. Can I travel on a commercial airline with EasyDive? TSA regulations state that a tank valve must be removed from the cylinder, which in the case of EasyDive is professionally attached. Therefore, it would take a professional to remove and reassemble it. For that reason we do not recommend flying with your EasyDive system. An alternative is to ship it (must be empty) to your vacation destination prior to your trip and then get the EasyDive filled at your destination. If you want to travel with a small air system, check out the Spare Air at www.spareair.com which can be easily disassembled and taken on airlines. 4. Can I buy an extra cylinder? EasyDive Option 1 Combo integrates the tank valve and 1 stage of the scuba regulator into a very small and lightweight footprint that is unlike standard scuba set‐ups. This means that you cannot simply swap out the cylinder with another full cylinder. EasyDive Option 2 has a separate tank valve and stage regulator that allows you to purchase extra cylinders and simply swap them. 5. Do I need to be a certified diver to use EasyDive? Yes, users should be scuba certified to understand the proper procedures and understand the risks when using scuba equipment. 6. What depth can I use EasyDive kit to? It is recommended to use EasyDive at less than 30 feet.
