IMPORTANT:
BEFORE PROCEEDING TO STEPS 4 & 5 MAKE SURE THE CONNECTORS FOR THE PUMP AND L.E.D. LIGHTS HAVE
"O"RINGS INSTALLED ON THEM (SEE FIG. A)
SET THE "FLOW CONTROL" ON THE PUMP TO THE FULLY OPEN POSITION. DO THIS BY SLIDING THE
STEP 1
STEM ON THE FRONT OF THE PUMP COVER ALL THE WAY OVER TO THE "+" SIGN. (Fig. B).
ATTACH THE INCLUDED PLASTIC FITTING INTO THE PUMP OUTLET (Fig. B) (DEPENDING ON YOUR
STEP 2
MODEL, SOME FITTINGS MAY ALREADY BE PRE-INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY)
LOCATE AND PULL THE OPEN END OF THE PLASTIC FILL TUBE OUT FROM THE OPENING IN THE REAR
STEP 3
OF THE FOUNTAIN AND PUSH IT ALL THE WAY DOWN ONTO THE PUMP FITTING. (Fig. C)
ATTACH THE POWER CORD PLUG COMING FROM THE PUMP TO THE SOCKET ON THE A.C.
STEP 4
ADAPTER. PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN THEN SECURE THE CONNECTION BY SCREWING THE NUT ONTO
THE THREADED NECK UNTIL TIGHT. (Fig. D)
ATTACH THE L.E.D. BARREL CONNECTOR COMING OUT OF THE FOUNTAIN OPENING TO THE
STEP 5
MATING SOCKET ON THE WIRE LEAD COMING FROM THE PUMP. PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN THEN
SECURE THE CONNECTION BY SCREWING THE NUT ONTO THE THREADED NECK UNTIL TIGHT. (Fig. E)
PLACE THE PUMP INTO THE OPENING IN THE REAR OF THE FOUNTAIN, MAKING SURE THAT THE
STEP 6
BARREL CONNECTOR (Fig. E) REMAINS OUTSIDE OF THE FOUNTAIN. (THIS CONNECTION MUST
REMAIN OUT OF THE WATER AS SHOWN IN Fig. F).
FILL THE FOUNTAIN WITH WATER. MINIMUM WATER LEVEL REQUIRES THE PUMP TO BE
STEP 7
COMPLETELY SUBMERSED. MAXIMUM LEVEL IS JUST BELOW THE LOWER EDGE OF THE
OPENING .
PLUG A.C. ADAPTER INTO GFCI OUTLET. BE SURE TO LEAVE A "DRIP LOOP" IN THE WIRE.

HELPFUL TIPS:
1) If water does not flow shortly after power up, unplug and refer to STEP 1 to confirm
that the flow control is in the fully open position. OR Air may be trapped within the
pump. Remedy this by removing the pump & placing back into the filled basin.
2) If splashing occurs when the fountain is running, try reducing the flow rate of the
pump by sliding the stem on the front cover towards the minus (-) side. (see Fig. B)
