Safety
Note: Light emitted from LEDs is particularly
strong. Do not look directly into the LEDs while
the lantern is on.
• Do not place the lantern where it could risk
falling into water or other types of liquid.
• Never subject the lantern to high
temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Always handle the lantern with care. Certain
parts are made of glass and can be easily
broken.
• Do not let children play with the lantern.
Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of
the storm lantern by sliding it in the direction
of the arrow.
2. Insert 2 × D/LR20 batteries (sold separately)
according to polarity markings inside the battery
compartment in order to ensure correct insertion.
3. Replace the battery cover.

Care and maintenance
• Clean the lantern using a lightly
moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents for cleaning, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
• Remove the batteries and store the storm
lantern out of reach of children if it is not to
be used for any significant period.

general household waste. This applies
throughout the entire EU. In order to
prevent any harm to the environment
or health hazards caused by incorrect
waste disposal, the product must be handed in
for recycling so that the material can be disposed
