TATUM UTV Can-Am X3 Shock Assembly Instructions

Your package should come with the following:
(1) Billet Shock Tower Brace (upper)
(1) 4130 Chromoly Frame Gusset (lower)
(1) Upper hardware kit
(1) Lower hardware kit
Tools/Hardware Needed:
5mm Allen

6mm Allen

8mm Allen

8mm wrench

10mm wrench & socket

13mm wrench & socket

Install Instructions:
1. Start by removing the front fascia. While removing the fascia, make sure to
disconnect your headlights.
2. If you have limiting straps, remove and place to the side.
3. Make sure you are on flat, level ground. Place the car on jack stands and make sure the
car is secured on them. The vehicle's owner's manual will provide you with proper places
to lift and support your car if you are unsure.
4. Remove the fan shroud hardware and set aside.
5. Remove upper and lower hardware from the shocks at the mounting points.
(Shock tower mount and a-arm). Set shocks aside. If you have smart shox, make
sure to disconnect your smart shox wire at the pigtail.
6. Pull radiator and fan shroud away from the car to make room behind it. Push
wires and cables to the side to make room for the frame gusset. (Cut zip ties)
