How to Properly Operate the GrillGun
Operate the GrillGun in a clear open-air area where it will be safe to operate a
high power, high temperature torch without burning anything that you don't
intend to burn.
Before doing anything, make sure the (red) Gas Valve Knob is turned fully clock-
wise (to the right) to shut off the poten al fuel flow.
Hold the GrillGun upright with the handle ver cal such that you are not
depressing either the Handle Trigger Lock or pulling the Handle Trigger.
Connect either a 1-lb propane fuel bo le or a free-standing propane tank con-
nected via the 8' hose, to the Gas Connector. When a aching a 1‐lb bo le to
the Gas Connector, ghten the bo le only enough to come to a so stop
against the rubber seal in the Gas Connector. WARNING: Over ghtening can
damage the GrillGun.
Very Important Note: Hold the GrillGun upright and ver cal when connec ng
to propane. An important safety feature built into the GrillGun is the Check
Valve, which will close if liquid propane flows into the GrillGun at any me. If
the propane bo le is not kept ver cal while a aching to the GrillGun, liquid
propane will enter the GrillGun and the Check Valve will close. If that happens
the GrillGun will not work and you will need to disconnect the bo le to release
the Check Valve and then start over again, this me keeping everything upright.

If you are connected through the 8' hose to a larger tank, turn on the tank's
valve at this me to let the adapter hose fill with propane gas. Note: If the pro-
