    Plug the freezer into a nearby power socket and switch on. Temperature control Switch the freezer on for the first time and use the key supplied, to turn the thermostat control to the ‘SF’ position on the dial (Figure 4). Leave the freezer running with the door closed for approximately 4 hours before storing food.

    This appliance has the facility to hang the door on the opposite side. Depending upon where you plan to locate the freezer, reversing the door may make access more convenient. 1. Remove the screw, hinge cover, hinge screws and hinge (Figure 5).

    ‘SF’ position and leave for 24 hours. Do not freeze more than 10kg/24h.) When the food is frozen move it down to the lower baskets in the freezer and turn the thermostat control back to the previous preset position.

    Maintenance and cleaning The freezer must be turned off at the mains before maintaining or cleaning. Defrosting It is recommended to clean and wipe out the freezer after any spillage inside or outside the appliance. Caution: Do not touch ice with bare skin to avoid ‘ice burns’.

    Problem Temperature in freezer not cold enough Abnormal noise and vibration Fuse and mains plug replacement This product is supplied with a moulded plug which contains a 13A fuse. If you are simply replacing the fuse, you must use a 13A fuse which has been approved by ASTA to BS1362 (Figure 9).

    Contact the Helpline below for assistance and advice. If the freezer breaks down or the power fails, do not open the door. Depending upon conditions the frozen food should not be affected for 24 hours.
