    Getting Started Congratulations on your purchase of a ViewSonic GT775 SonicTron monitor. Important! Save the original box and all packing material for future shipping needs. NOTE: The word "Windows" in this user's guide refers to the following Microsoft operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT (5.0).

    ViewSonic does not recommend the use of any ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners on the monitor screen or case. Some chemical cleaners have been reported to damage the screen and/or case of the monitor. ViewSonic will not be liable for damage resulting from use of any ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners.

    If you have an IBM or compatible computer, you can use the DDC Diagnostic Utility to test the communication between your monitor and the DDC- compatible* graphics card in your computer. To install the DDC Diagnostic Utility, use the ViewSonic diskette or CD-ROM included with your monitor. • From the diskette, run install.exe.
