- Page 2 Receivers with an “X” in the part number (for example: RES12VX, RES6VX) OPENING THE NEW TRANSMITTER 1) Your new transmitter should look like this: (front) (back) 2) Flip the transmitter over and remove the ring clip. 3) Remove the Philips head screw and gently pry the plastic case open.
- Page 3 2) Disconnect power to the Receiver for a few seconds and reconnect. 3) Press the Erase button on the transmitter for 5 seconds. 4) Release the button when you hear 8 short beeps from the Receiver indicating that all codes have been erased. ©2016 3Built LLC Page 3 of 5 6/28/16...
