INDIANA FOIL – Quick Start Guide
1) Make sure to coat all screws with a thin
layer of Tef-Gel before assembly. This will
prevent corrosion and seizing of the screws.
2) Check your screws before every session
and make sure they are tight.
3) Rinse your foil with fresh water after every use.
4) Check the anodes in the mastplate and the
cartridge regularly. They will degrade after some
time. This is normal. This will happen faster
when the foil is used in salt water. Replace the
anodes if they are broken or cracked.
3) Make sure there is no sand or dirt on the
screws or thread-holes. If there is sand on
the screws you may damage the threads in
the mast.
4) If the frontwing is stuck, or is difficult to
slide onto the fuselage, use a hard rubber
mallet (not included) to loosen the front
wing by hitting the trailing edge near the
center of the wing.
5) We recommend that you take apart the
foil completely if you are not using it for a
long time.
