Save these instructions for your Magic Chef® Magic Steam™ Microwave Cookware. Always be sure
to follow your microwave manufacturer's cooking instructions, as microwave ovens vary.
FOR MICROWAVE USE ONLY WITHOUT A BROWNING ELEMENT. DO NOT USE OR PLACE ON
STOVETOP, UNDER BROILER, OR IN TOASTER OVEN.
WARNING
Failure to follow these instructions and warnings may cause the product to suddenly fracture into
many small pieces which could result in property damage or personal injury from cuts or burns.
Scratches from certain cleaning materials and utensils, impact damage, or other general misuse can
weaken glassware, causing unexpected breakage when exposed to severe temperature changes.
USING YOUR MAGIC CHEF® MAGIC STEAM™ MICROWAVE COOKWARE
• Thoroughly wash and dry all components with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner before first
and after each use.
• When using a Magic Steam™ insert, place approximately 1/8" – 1/4" of water into bottom
of glass dish, making sure bottom of dish is completely covered with water.
• Place Magic Steam™ insert into glass dish.
• Place food into Magic Steam™ insert.
• Make sure lid is securely attached and vent is open.
• Cook food according to microwave manufacturer's instructions or written recipe.
• For subtle flavor, spices or herbs may be added to the water. However, DO NOT replace
the water with any other liquids such as juice, wine, oils, or stock.
• Your Magic Chef® glassware is conventional oven safe up to 425˚F.
• DO NOT use lid or Magic Steam™ inserts in conventional oven.
• Extreme heat may warp or melt plastic.
• DO NOT add liquid to a hot dish.
WARNING
• Steam buildup inside cookware is normal. Be sure to use care when handling. Open lid
and vent away from you to avoid burns.
• Container will be extremely hot after cooking. Use extreme caution. Handle hot dishes
with a dry cloth or potholder.
• Using more than the recommended amount of water in cookware may result in liquid
boil-over and cause product failure, property damage, or serious personal injury.
• DO NOT use lid with vent in a closed position. Doing so will create excessive pressure,
causing the lid to melt or warp and could cause property damage or personal injury.
• For best results, DO NOT use Magic Steam™ inserts without water in the glass container.
• DO NOT leave food in microwave unattended while cooking with your Magic Chef®
Magic Steam™ microwave cookware. Always monitor contents during cooking and follow
safety precautions in this booklet as well as microwave manufacturer's instructions.
• Avoid severe temperature changes and never place hot glass on wet or cold surfaces.
• Avoid microwave misuse. DO NOT heat empty or nearly empty glassware in microwave.
Heat only for the recommended time for your microwave (refer to your microwave
owner's manual). This product is not intended for camping, industrial, or commercial use.
• STORING FOOD: Use your Magic Chef® glass and lid for storing food in refrigerator or
freezer, but DO NOT take directly from cold storage to microwave. Always allow cookware
to come to room temperature before microwaving.
• Use only wood or plastic utensils, as metal utensils or sharp knives may scratch and weaken glass.
CAUTION
Minor stretching of vent hole in lid may occur, especially when hot. Covers are leak resistant but
are not leak proof.
CARING FOR YOUR MAGIC CHEF® MAGIC STEAM™ MICROWAVE COOKWARE
• Clean with non-scratch pads and cleaners intended for glass bakeware.
• Always use mild, non-abrasive detergent.
• Glass, lid, and Magic Steam™ insert are top rack dishwasher safe.
• Avoid impact with hard objects during use and storage.
• Discontinue use if glassware appears chipped, scratched, or cracked.
• If necessary, the top ring of the lid can be removed while hand-washing. Be sure to replace
the ring when product is in use.

Glassware has a 5-year warranty. If it chips, cracks, or breaks within 5 years from the date of purchase

CÓMO UTILIZAR SU UTENSILIOS DE COCINA PARA MICROONDAS MAGIC CHEF® MAGIC STEAM™
• Lave y seque por completo todos los componentes con un limpiador suave no abrasivo
antes del primer uso y después de cada uso posterior.
• Al momento de utilizar algún accesorio interno Magic Steam™, coloque aproximadamente
0.3 - 0.6 cm de agua en el fondo del plato de vidrio, cerciorándose de que el fondo del
plato quede totalmente cubierto con agua.
• Coloque el accesorio interno Magic Steam™ dentro del plato de vidrio.
• Coloque el alimento en el accesorio interno Magic Steam™.
• Asegúrese de que la tapa quede firmemente ajustada y que el respiradero quede abierto.
• Cocine los alimentos según las instrucciones del fabricante del microondas o de la receta escrita.
• Al agua se le pueden agregar hierbas y especias para lograr un sabor sutil. Sin embargo, NO
reemplace el agua con ningún otro líquido como puede ser jugo, vino, aceites o caldos.
• Su cristalería Magic Chef® es segura para hornos convencionales hasta una temperatura de 218˚C.
• NO use la tapa ni los accesorios internos Magic Steam™ en un horno convencional.
• El calor extremo puede deformar o derretir el plástico.
• NO vierta líquidos en un plato caliente.
ADVERTENCIA
• La acumulación de vapor dentro de la utensilios de cocina es normal. Asegúrese de
emplear cuidado al momento de su manipulación. Abra la tapa y ventile lejos de su
persona para poder evitar quemaduras.
• El contenedor estará extremadamente caliente después de cocinar. Use una precaución
extrema. Manipule platos calientes con un paño seco o una manopla.
• Utilizar una cantidad de agua mayor a la recomendada dentro de la utensilios de cocina
podría provocar un derrame de líquido y ocasionar fallas en el producto, daños materiales
o lesiones personales graves.
• NO use la tapa con respiradero en una posición cerrada. Hacerlo generaría una presión
excesiva, lo que provocaría que la tapa se derrita o deforme y así ocasionar daños
materiales o lesiones personales.
• Para obtener mejores resultados, NO utilice los accesorios internos Magic Steam™ sin haber
agua en el contenedor de vidrio.
• NO deje alimentos sin supervisión dentro del microondas mientras cocina con su
utensilios de cocina para microondas Magic Chef® Magic Steam™. Supervise los
contenidos en todo momento durante la cocción y siga las precauciones de seguridad de
este cuadernillo así como también las instrucciones del fabricante del microondas.
• Evite los cambios abruptos de temperatura y jamás ponga vidrio caliente sobre superficies
húmedas o frías.
• Evite usos indebidos del microondas. NO caliente cristalería vacía o casi vacía en un horno
microondas. Caliente sólo durante el tiempo recomendado para su microondas (consulte
