Using the Staging Set the equipment on a firm, level, non-slip surface. Assistance may be required when handling and setting up the staging. Lightweight Staging must be supported on a level surface at each end, such as a trestle, with a minimum overhang of 150mm or 300mm at both ends.

Handrails and Toe Boards Follow the requirements contained in the work at height regulations when choosing and fitting handrails and toe boards. Fitting Raise the outside and inner clamps on the handrail post to allow the staging board to be fitted. Fit the staging resting on the bottom bar of the handrail post.
