Whirlpool does not design multi- dryer vent systems, nor does Whirlpool review or provide approvals for vent systems designed by third-party engineering firms. -

Turbo Vent™ dryers and combo washer/dryer units that are sold in the United States and Canada are UL listed (reference UL 2158 standard), and all Whirlpool gas dryer models are CSA listed (reference ANSI Z21.5.1 standard). These standards require testing at the maximum-rated exhaust vent conditions that are published in the product literature for each individual model. - Page 6 ■ For closet installation, with a door, minimum ventilation openings near the top and bottom of the door are required. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are acceptable. ■ Companion appliance spacing should also be considered. Recommended room venting and installation spacing for recessed or closet installation, with stacked washer and dryer 48 in.

Option 3 - Combination System The combination system may be used in high-rise apartments, with a bank of dryers installed at several different levels.
