MAINTAIN CHARGER CORD. When unplugging charger, pull plug rather than cord to reduce the risk of damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry charger by its cord. Keep cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Make sure cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage or stress.
- Page 4 XLT Lithium-Ion Battery Packs Battery Pack – Fully Charge Before Using New batteries must be charged before first use. A complete charge will typically take 2-4 hours. This will elongate the life of the battery as well and allow for the drill to receive the proper wattage needed. Battery Pack Operational Characteristics Compared to NiCad battery pack types, XLT Lithium-Ion battery packs deliver fade-free power for their entire run time.
- Page 5 XLT Lithium-Ion Battery Charger When to Charge the Battery Packs Remove the battery pack from the drill for charging when convenient for you and your job. XLT Li-Ion batteries do not develop a "memory" when charged after a partial discharge. It is not necessary to run down the battery pack before placing it on the charger.

Conforms to UL Std. 1310 Cert to CAN/CSA Std C22.2 No. 223-M91 LIMITED WARRANTY – USA, MEXICO AND CANADA Every XLT 18V Battery Pack is warranted to the original purchaser only to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from purchase. Subject to certain exceptions, L2 Trucking Products will repair or replace a battery pack which, after examination, is determined by L2 to be defective in material or workmanship. -
