Mounting
The laser module should be mounted where it will not be exposed
to heat or dust. The universal fixing brackets (supplied) see Fig
AAA should be positioned so that full adjustment of the laser ball
mounted joint is possible.
Connection
After the laser is positioned, the jack plug ended adapter lead should be plugged into the laser and
into one of the power supply outlets. The standard lead length is 1.5m. The lead may be extended up
to a maximum length of 10m using a 3.5mm jack extension lead. An IEC mains lead appropriate to
the country of installation should be used to connect the power supply input. In the event that the IEC
connector supplied has to be cut off, the cable colours are
Brown –Live
Blue _ Neutral
Green/Yellow -Earth
The connector removed from the IEC mains cable must be disposed of immediately to avoid the risk of
electric shock.
Adjustment
The laser may be switched on and position, focus, line length and cross may all be adjusted to suit the
application.
Position. The ball joint allows the laser module to be positioned precisely.

Focus. Use adjustment tool AABBCC and insert into the slot A to engage one of the holes -

Line length/Cross angle. Rotate the pin at the front of the laser to obtain the desired line

length or cross angle. See Fig X
Precautions
Do not connect or disconnect the jack plug adapter with the power supply switched on.
Line and cross laser modules are Visible Class 3R laser products CAUTION--The use of optical
instruments with this product will increase eye hazard.
