Center of gravity, Standard definitions

The Cabri G2 frame axis are defined as follows :
• Z-axis is parallel to the main rotor shaft, positive upward,
• X-axis is normal to Z-axis in the plane defined by Z-axis and tail
rotor transmission axis, positive rearward,
• Y-axis is deduced from the two others, so that the XYZ frame is
direct. Positive Y are on the helicopter right side.
Datum is defined such that main gearbox center coordinates are :

Notes : - The helicopter is not leveled when on a horizontal ground.
- The tail rotor transmission is angled 2° downward when the
helicopter is leveled.
