AW Sport 250 Chassis (PP-AW)
Thank you for purchasing one of my precision photo-etched chassis kits which are designed to accept
readily available Slot car parts.
We suggest Slot.it SICH10 guide although Ninco spring guides work well, Scalextric nylon axle
bearings or Penelope Pitlane Oilite bearings.
All PP chassis follow the same easy assemble basic layout with separate motor/rear axle plate, guide
plate and front axle plate. Nickel Silver is easily soldered should you wish to add any additional bracing
or weight.
Angle Winder Sport 250 Chassis
AW Sport 250 is an option for saloon / sport car bodies where a standard angle winder chassis would be
too wide. Wheel base & Front axle to guide are adjustable. Rear motor mount is drilled to accept M2
fastening screws.
1. Cut the chassis components from the frame and each other with a Stanley knife, dremel or cutters.
File off any rough edges remaining.
2. Note – always fold towards the etched fold line. Work along the folds with a pair of pliers and ease up
the rear axle plates of the chassis until the sides are 90 degrees to the base
3. Do the same on the rear mounting plate and clip pegs on side rails into holes on the rear plate. Bend
rear body mounting hole tag down to form 90 degrees to the rear plate.
4. Fold up the sides of the front axle plate to 90 degrees.
5. Fold up the guide mounting plate, both upright faces first. Fold over the top face so that the peg on the
left side clips into the hole on the top face.
6. Slide the guide mounting plate underneath the front axle plate and then both these pieces into the rear
half of the chassis.
7. Adjust to the correct wheel base and select your guide position before inserting the screw from
underneath and tighten nut down from above.

Gearing – use Slot.it GA16** AW Spur gear with 6.5mm pinion gear
