INSTRUCTIONS FOR WC-4310, WC-4320, WC-4340, WC-4350 AMANA WALL CLOCKS
Dear Amana Customer,
Thank you for investing in an original Amana wall clock. These instructions are intended to provide
information needed to set up and operate the clock. Please read these instructions carefully before you begin.
Please contact us at the Amana Furniture Shop if you have any questions.
UNPACKING THE CLOCK
Carefully unpack and remove the clock from its container. On the WC-4310, WC-4320 and WC-4340 models
only, locate the pendulum before disposing of any material. You may wish to save the container for future
transportation of the clock.
OPERATING INSTURUCTIONS (see attached diagram)
Again, on the WC-4310, WC-4320 and WC-4340 models only, unlock the pendulum holder from its shipping
position by gently sliding to the right until it hangs freely. Carefully place pendulum on hanger.
Insert the batteries according to (+) and (-) marking in the battery compartment. Set the time to 5:45 a.m. by
turning the hand-setting knob on the movement, then push the RESET button.
To set the time and melody, turn the hand-setting knob on the movement. If the present time is P.M., make sure
the hour hand passes through 12 o'clock until the desired time is shown. During time setting you will hear
sounds, but continue until the desired time is shown. Once the desired time is set, the melody will sound
correctly.
The 4x4 mode will not work correctly during the first hour after time is set. After that, however, it works
perfectly. This is a normal condition for this movement.
