Safety Information
CAUTION: This product is only a deterrent.
It is not a substitute for proper adult
supervision. Discontinue use when child
becomes old enough to defeat it.
• When possible, install out of reach of
children.
• Not suitable for use on stoves, ovens, doors or windows.
• For refrigerators with side-by-side doors, two lockes should be
installed (one for each door) on top of refrigerator (Figure 1).
• Do not install across side-by-side doors.
To Install
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
• Clean refrigerator surfaces with warm soapy
water, rinse with clear water and dry.
• Check fit before applying.
• For uneven surfaces, ensure lock and catch are
mounted evenly (Figure 2). Remove paper
backing and apply spacer(s) to lock or catch.
• Lock to be installed on refrigerator door only
(Figure 3).

Do not remove paper backing until step 2.
Place catch inside lock to ensure fit (Figure 3).

Remove all paper backing from adhesive. Mount
lock to door and catch to refrigerator surface (Figure 3). Press firmly.
NOTE: Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before use. Set refrigerator lock to
disabled mode for 24 hours. See "To disable refrigerator lock" below.
To Use
For everyday use:
• Be sure the red disable button sticks out. To open
the refrigerator door press the top of the lock,
open the door, then release the lock (Figure 4).
To disable refrigerator lock:
• Press the top of the lock, then press the red
disable button (Figure 5). This will prevent it
from locking when refrigerator is closed.
To re-activate refrigerator lock:
• Press the button on the opposite side so that the
red disable button sticks out. This will re-activate
locking mode.
Care and Cleaning
Wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
