INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE FIRST USE STEP 1: Before connecting to the mains power supply, wipe the exterior surface of the iron with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. STEP 2: To remove any impurities that may have occurred during the manufacturing process, it is best to use the iron on an old piece of cloth, making sure that it is on the highest temperature setting suitable for the material. - Page 8 USING THE 3000 W STEAM IRON IRONING WITH STEAM ECO/BOOST The steam settings are perfect for effortlessly removing creases from fabrics like cotton and linen. IRONING WITHOUT STEAM For removing creases from more sensitive fabrics, try ironing without steam. STEP 1: Slide the steam control switch to the ‘off’ position. STEP 2: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply. STEP 3: To increase the temperature of the iron, rotate the temperature control dial in a clockwise direction until the desired heat setting is selected. - Page 10 WATER SPRAY FUNCTION The water spray function can be used to help to remove stubborn creases on heavier fabrics. It can also be used when dry ironing delicate fabrics that cannot be steam ironed. To use the water spray function, hold the iron over the area to be ironed and then press the water spray button.
