The plastic lens cover has a UV inhibitor molded in. While it can prevent yellowing for a period of time, long time exposure in the outdoor
environment will eventually degrade the UV inhibitors, causing the lens to turn yellow and become brittle.

dirt, insects, and mold. Moisture can also be trapped within the channel causing water to puddle up inside which void product's warranty.
