Before use, please read all instructions in this brochure and follow them.
Keep instructions for future reference. If you ever have any questions
about your carrier, please call Kelty at 1-800-423-2320.
Pay particular attention to the safety information below.
• Your carrier adds to your size and can affect your coordination and
balance. Before use, familiarize yourself with the added weight of the
carrier and child.
• When bending, always bend from the knees, not the waist, so that child is
not pitched forward.
• Never use a damaged carrier.
-Each time you use the carrier, check its condition. Make sure bolts and
fasteners are tight, and see that there is no deformation or creases in
frame.
-Note that frame can bend if handled roughly. Avoid dropping carrier,
running over carrier, etc.
If you discover that a fastener is loose or you suspect that the integrity of
the frame has been compromised, discontinue use of the carrier. Return it
to your nearest Kelty dealer.
• When in use, always fasten child's five-point safety harness and adjust
properly. A too-loose or too-tight harness may allow your child to be
injured.
• Take care that the carrier does not tip over when you are putting the child
in or removing the child. Never place carrier on elevated surfaces, such as
benches, tables, or countertops. Never place it on a soft surface like a bed
or sofa.
