    General Features The DVD-R157 allows you to record and play high quality digital video on DVD-RAM/DVD±RW/DVD±R discs. High quality digital audio and video recording and playback You can record up to approximately 16-hours of video on a double side 9.4 GB DVD-RAM disc,up to 15-hours on a dual-layer 8.5GB DVD±R disc, and up to 8-hours on a 4.7 GB DVD-RAM/DVD±RW/DVD±R disc, depending on the recording mode.

    Connecting & Setting Up Step 1: Connecting the Antenna Cable This section involves various methods of connecting the DVD Recorder to other external components. ▌ Antenna + Set Top Box Controller + DVD Recorder + TV : Cable box with a video/ audio output or a satellite receiver You can record channels by selecting the channel on the cable box.

    Recording Mode Select one of four record modes by pressing the REC MODE button repeatedly for the desired recording time and picture quality while the unit is in Stop mode. In general, picture quality improves as the recording time decreases. In FR mode, the most suitable record mode is selected automatically according to the remaining time on the disc and length of the timer recording set.
