Indy CBOX VC BT FL Installation Instructions

Indy ChromaControl™ luminaires can be paired with the Indy ControlBox for luminaire-to-luminaire connection and zonal control through
various network systems. Indy ChromaControl™ luminaires paired with the ControlBox can be controlled by the following: Bluetooth,
DMX, and Ecosystem.
Model Numbers: CBOX VC BT FL, CBOX VW BT FL, CBOX VC DMXE FL, CBOX VW DMXE FL, CBOX ECO1 FL*, CBOX ECO2 FL

Bluetooth Enabled ControlBox (CBOX VC BT FL, CBOX VW BT FL)
1. Determine if you are using Variable Warm, Variable Cool, or both types of ChromaControl luminaire. There will be a "VW" or "VC" in
the model number to differentiate type.
2. Up to 32 of like CCT range can be controlled on a single Control Box, up to a total chain length of 1800 ft.
3. Connect leads from the Control Box running to the first luminaire in the chain inside the wiring compartment of the Control Box –
White/Blue (Data +), Blue/White (Data -), Drain Wire (Data common) Figure 1.
4. Run data cables to the junction box of the first luminaire in the chain and wire the connections inside junction box using the 3-port
Wago connectors.
5. Run daisy-chain cables from the first luminaire to the second in chain and wire the connections inside the junction box the same as in
the previous step.
6. Repeat this process until a maximum of 32 luminaires is met or until desired end of chain, up to 1800 ft.
7. Remember to use the recommended wire for connectivity:
a. Liberty Cable - 24-2P-485 Non-Plenum, 24-2P-P485 Plenum
b. Belden Cable - 9842 Non-Plenum, 89842 Plenum
8. Supply power to the ControlBox by plugging in the attached cord – this will power up the accessory and will allow for zonal control
over the entire luminaire chain.
9. The ChromaControl luminaires can now be controlled via the Indy™ ChromaControl App (available for iOS devices in the App Store).
