    Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Use only as described in this manual. Use only Hoover recommended attachments. Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water.

    OPERATION PLEASE READ ‘GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION’ AT THE BEGINNING BEFORE USE IMPORTANT: The condition of the filters affects the performance of your machine. For best cleaning results filters require cleaning at least every 3 months. For full cleaning instructions, see page 7 IMPORTANT: Do not use the vacuum cleaner without all of the filters in place.

  • Page 8 OPERATION Cleaning filters IMPORTANT: To ensure best suction power, please clean the filter after each use. IMPORTANT: Do not use detergents to clean the filters. Filters must be thoroughly dry before the machine is used. HEPA filter is located behind the exhaust grill. Pre motor filter is located under the dust bag.
  • Page 9 OPERATION Clearing Blockages IMPORTANT: To reduce the risk of electric shock, the power cord must be disconnected before performing maintenance/troubleshooting checks. Turn the vacuum cleaner off and unplug from the electrical socket. HOSE BLOCKAGES The flexible hose may be disconnected from the vacuum cleaner. Carefully remove any blockages found and reconnect the hose securely.
