AndreXen technology is hybrid between an IPBX and an IP Centrex architecture. Main part of AndreXen solution is in the core network – IP Centrex like – and a small device is located at the customer premise and plays a critical role of ensuring quality, security and maintenance of the solution: this device is called the AndreXen router. - Page 4 Every single AndreXen router enjoys SSL encryption, providing a high level of security IP telephony. This document describes how to set up an AndreXen router. Please refer to CMI documentation for any other question regarding the router (configuration) and AndreXen solutions at large.

• Default installation (DHCP by default) Plug dedicated IP link to eth2/sis2 If ‘voice’ subnet has a static IP Address, AndreXen router IP address must be part of the same subnet (for further details, please refer to CMI documentation) Plug LAN to eth0/sis0 (switch for instance) -

Mac address within CMI interface, assign the telephone to a user. Then, once you plug the phone with a crossover cable on the AndreXen router autoprovisioning port (eth1/sis1), the phone will find its configuration and set up alone in a few minutes. -

3. DIAGNOSIS Each AndreXen router comes with a web interface displaying several kind of information and enabling to do installation tests and detect potential troubles This interface can be accessed from everywhere (client, integrator support …), provided the computer accessing it has an AndreXen VPN management certificate To access this web interface, enter the AndreXen router IP address (either VPN address VPN 172.16.X.254, or the LAN one –... -

Real time information on voice traffic To access this diagnosis, enter AndreXen router IP address, followed by /diags/ : « bp-down » and « bp-up » services provide information on the link capacity both for upload and download. -
Page 9: Temporary Modification
Choose the link you would like to modify (eth0, eth1 or eth2) and fill in all fields since you choose the Static mode. Warninf : when rebooting the AndreXen router, all network service will get back to original configuration. For tfurther details, please refer to CMI documentation. -
