Removing and Inserting HDD

The HDD can be edited using a computer. For HDD editing, refer to
the "manual to install" or the help of the MMDriver.

Make sure that power to the unit is turned off. If the
power is on, turn it off as described in "Turning
Power On and Off" on page 4.

Grasp the left side of the panel and and pull it out.

Hold both sides of HDD and pull it out.

When the HDD is removed, data can be stored with
the computer in your home using the included AC
adapter and USB cable. For instructions on
operating the computer, refer to the "manual to
install" or help file of the MMDriver.

To load HDD, insert it firmly in the direction of the
arrow.

Angle the panel into the right side of the main unit.
While holding the right side of the panel in the unit, press
the left side down until it locks firmly into the main unit.

• HDD and the panel may become hot in normal usage (especially
the connector terminals on the back of the panel). This is not a
malfunction.
• Before attaching HDD and the panel, make sure that there is no
dirt or dust on the connector terminals and no foreign objects
between HDD or the panel and the main unit.
• Do not make connections to the computer inside the vehicle.
• Do not touch the terminal part of the HDD.
Do not let metal (such as a coin) touch the terminal part.
It may cause a malfunction.
