Thebladecontrol i sattached to the upperhandleof the mower.Depress a nd
squeeze it against t he upperhandle to operatethe unit. Release i t to stopengine
andblade.

instead, follow the instructions inthe Assembly section to attachthe sidedischarge

Mulch Plug
Themulchplugisusedformulchingpurposes. Instead of collecting the grass
clippings in agrass catcheror usingthe sidedischarge c hute,somemowermodels
havethe optionof recirculating the clippingsback to the lawn.Thisiscalled
mulching.
Keephandsandfeet awayfrom the chutearea on cutting deck.Referto
warning label on the unit.
RecoilStarter

pullthe recoil s tarterropeto startthe unit.
