  • Page 2 1. REMOVE THWART BRACE Depress the spring button on the the thwart brace (tube) and spread rails slightly to remove the brace. Store the thwart brace under right side rail holding it in place with the bungee. Use the thwart brace when the Volt™ is not in place. DEPRESS SPRING CLIP AS SHOWN TO RELEASE THWART TUBE.
  • Page 3 3. ROUTE WIRING FROM MOTOR TO BATTERY Starting at the motor, insert wiring under the starboard (facing forward, the right) rail and into the wire clamps. The wire clamps are factory installed. Continue to the rear of the boat to the last wire clamp closest to the battery. 4.
  • Page 4 YOU’RE NOW SET TO GO 5. LOWER MOTOR INTO DRIVE BOX Remove drive box cover. Make sure that the propeller is aligned with the drive box opening and lower the motor into the drive box opening. Raise motor slightly and insert drive box cover. Raised area will line up with safety button.

    8. RUDDER CONTROL Reach behind the seat to locate the rudder deployment line. Raise and lower the rudder by pulling the REAR knot forward. Lock the line into the jam cleat when the rudder is into position. MAKE SURE RUDDER LINE IS OUT OF CLEAT BEFORE RASING OR LOWERING THE RUDDER AND THAT THE BLADE RETAINING BUNGEE HAS BEEN UNHOOKED.
