• MODE 5: All doors automatically lock
when the shift lever is moved out of
PARK (P). All doors automatically
unlock when the key is turned to OFF
(DIC-equipped vehicles only).

Perimeter Lights
When the perimeter lights feature is
turned on in the DIC, the Daytime
Running Lamps, exterior parking lamps
and backup lamps will turn on when the
unlock button on the Remote Keyless
Entry transmitter is pressed and if it is
dark enough according to your vehicle's
Twilight Sentinel
®
automatic headlamps
sensor.
To turn on Perimeter Lights through the
Driver Information Center (if equipped),
enter the personalization programming
mode by following the preceding instruc-
tions under Personalizing Vehicle
Features.
• When PERIMETER LIGHTS appears
on the display, toggle between OFF
and ON by pressing the RESET but-
ton and saving your selection by
pressing the SELECT button.
• You will be prompted to select a
TIMEOUT period that sets the
amount of time the lights remain lit.
Press the RESET button repeatedly
to toggle from five to 30 seconds in
five-second increments.
• When the desired timeout is dis-
played, press the SELECT button to
record your choice and move on to
the next personalization feature.

Systems Monitor Buttons

(if equipped)
On equipped vehicles, the Systems
Monitor buttons are located on the con-
trol panel to the right of the instrument
cluster.
E/M (English/Metric): Switches the dis-
play between English and Metric units.
TRIP RESET: Allows you to reset your
trip odometer by pressing the TRIP
RESET button.
TIRE PRESS RESET: The check tire
pressure system detects differences in
tire rotation speeds that are caused by
changes in tire pressure and alerts you
to a low or flat tire while the vehicle is in
motion only. After correcting the condi-
tion, reset the system with all tires at the
correct inflation level to ensure that the
system operates properly, because
