SOLUTION
• Use detector
outdoors only
from power lines
at least 20' apart
• Only dig up
repeatable
signals
• Reduce sensitivity
until erratic
signals cease
• Use only 9V
alkaline batteries
• Move coil slowly
at different angles
• Reduce sensitivity
• Replace batteries
