11. Do not fill kettle when positioned on base, Dry the water on the bottom of the
body before place it onto power base.
12. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
13. Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water.
14. If the power cord is damaged, it must be changed by manufacturer or
authorized persons.
15. To prolong the kettle's life, please do not refill the kettle with water
immediately when the kettle is hot, please let the kettle cool down before re-use
or cleaning. Please clean the mineral deposits in the kettle regularly. Do not use
chemic matter to clean the surface of the kettle
16. This appliance is designed for domestic use only and not for commercial
applications.
OPERATING INSTRUCTION
1. Remove the kettle from the base unit before filling.
2. Fill the kettle with water to the desired level. Do not fill with more than the
"MAX" indication water. Avoid overfilling to prevent boiling water being ejected
from around the top of kettle.
3. Do not fill with less than 0.4 litre of water (or below the "MIN" indication ) to
prevent the kettle running dry while operating.
4. Do not forget to close the lid after filling. Otherwise the kettle, will not automat-
ically switch off after use.
5. Make sure there is no water on the base unit or on the outside of the kettle,
thence place the kettle on the base unit, which is connected to a wall socket.
6. The appliance is switched on by setting the Boil switch into the "down" position.
The pilot light will come on.
7. When the water has boiled the appliance switches off automatically.
8. At any time you can switch the kettle off manually by setting the I/O switch into
"up" position.
9. If switched off automatically, first allow the built-in thermal safety switch 15-20
seconds to cool down. Than you may switch on again.
10. During the cooling down do not force the Boil switch in to the "up" position as
