Improper handling of the cordless drill or rechargeable battery may
result in damage to the cordless drill.
− Never place the cordless drill or the accessories on or near hot
surfaces (e.g. radiators).
− Never expose the rechargeable battery to mechanical shocks.
Residual risks
Even if you use this device in compliance with applicable regulations, residual
risks cannot be ruled out. The following risks associated with the construction
and design of this device may occur:
a) Injury to health attributed to vibration emissions if the device is used over a
prolonged period of time or is not guided and maintained properly.
b) Injury and damage to property caused by projected parts or tool adapters
that break during use.
c) Injury to health caused by working with toxic materials or materials posing a
risk to health (e.g. asbestos).

Preparation

Checking the cordless drill and product contents

1. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig. A and B).
3. Take the cordless drill out of the packaging and check whether the cordless drill
or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case, do not use the cordless
drill. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the warranty
card.
