D Talk / Recall
Press to make a call.
When on an external call, press to access a Call Waiting Line when you hear the call
waiting prompt signal. Press again to toggle between the two calls. Also used with
switchboard/PABX and some network services.
Use with switchboard / PABX services and some network services.
E Hands-free
Press to switch hands-free on or o during a call.
F * / Keypad lock / Pulse to Tone dialling
Dial a *.
Press and hold to lock / unlock the keypad.
During a call, press to switch from pulse dialling to tone dialling.
G Mute
Press to switch mute on / o during a call.
H Volume up / Scroll up / Calls list
During a call, press to increase earpiece volume.
Press to scroll through the menu options, redial list, calls list and phonebook entries.
In standby mode, press to open the calls list.
I
Phonebook / Back / Delete
In standby mode, press to open the phonebook menu.
Go back to previous menu level.
In editing mode, press to delete characters and digits.
J Volume down / Scroll down / Redial list
During a call, press to decrease earpiece volume.
Press to scroll through the menu options, redial list, calls list and phonebook entries.
In standby mode, press to open the redial list.
K End Call / Switch Handset on/o
Press to end a call.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to switch the handset on / o .
Press to return to standby when in the call list, redial list and phonebook.
L # / Pause / Change case
Dial a #.
When dialling or storing a number press to enter a pause (P).
Press to switch between upper and lower case during text editing.
M Intercom
Used to make internal calls and transfer calls to the corded base or other C42 handsets
registered to the base.
N Microphone
